Matthew J. Smith - Associate
Bio Matthew Smith joined Gorham &
Associates, LLC in 2010 focusing
primarily in personal injury, products
liability, wrongful death, insurance bad
faith and insurance fraud. Matthew is
a graduate of Faulkner University,
Thomas Goode Jones School of Law (J.D.,
2010) and The University of Alabama
(B.A. Commerce and Business
Administration 2007) . While attending
law school, he served as student
ambassador, teen court volunteer, BarBri
representative, SBA Treasurer, and SBA
Senator . Matt was also a member of
several mock trial tournament teams.
In addition to practicing in the
state circuit courts, he is admitted to
the United States District Court for the
Northern, Middle and Southern Districts
of Alabama. In his free time he enjoys
college football, going to the beach,
working out and spending time with
family.
